You gave me life, a precious gift,
And with it, a love that’s hard to lift.
From the moment I was born, you were there,
Caring for me, showing you truly care.
Your touch, a warmth that soothes my soul,

You wiped away my tears, and kissed my boo-boos too,
And with each passing year, your love shone through.
You taught me right from wrong, and guided me along,
Helped me find my way, and sang my favorite song.
You were my rock, my shelter, my guiding light,
And through it all, you held me tight.
As I grew up, and life took its toll,
You were always there, a steady role.
You stood by me, through every fall,
And lifted me up, standing tall.
On this special day, I want to say,
Thank you for being my mother, in every way.
Thank you for your love, your care, and your might,
For being my rock, my safe haven, my guiding light.
